Here we have the US Army 1940 Pants from Anatomica, a reproduction of those originally issued to the US Army during the 1940's. This style in particular is styled after a trouser issued in 1941, with the introduction of the side entry pockets.
Cut in Japan from a lightweight, unbleached cotton the US Army Pants feature a deep rise with a straight silhouette throughout. A button fly with original US Army metal buttons has been paired with two slash pockets and a high watch pocket/coin pocket.
The stitching on the back pockets is slightly irregular to show war-time manufacturing detailing, while the belt loops are cut to a fine 8mm. A mil spec tag on the inside has been paired with tonal stitching throughout.
