Buzz Rickson's Extreme Cold Weather M-65 ERDL Camouflage Parka
Modelled after the iconic M-65 that succeeded the M-51, this parka takes the classic field silhouette and reimagines it through the lens of Buzz Rickson’s meticulous reproduction standards. While the original M-65 utilised a cotton-nylon Oxford cloth, this version is constructed from a custom cotton ripstop fabric printed in the famed “ERDL” camouflage - first developed by the U.S. Army’s Engineer Research and Development Laboratory for special forces units.
A Crown aluminium spring automatic-lock front fastener provides secure closure, complemented by mil-spec brass snap buttons and mil-spec urea buttons throughout. Two side pockets with button flap closure have been paired with button cuffs, a concealed snap button placket while there are interior buttons to allow for the attachment for a hood (this is available separately).
