The Jackson has become one of Coherence’s core styles, firmly established over the last few years. It is crafted in Japan using the brand’s exclusive 10 oz Logger Selvedge Denim, reflecting their commitment to quality and authenticity.
The design draws from traditional coverall and chore jackets, reinterpreted through Coherence’s distinctive lens. As with many of the brand’s pieces, the inspiration originates from a photograph - this time of abstract expressionist painter Jackson Pollock, captured wearing a similar jacket in his studio.
Instantly recognisable with workwear, the Jackson is simple in design. The Jacket features a four button front using custom-made donut buttons & features two large lower pockets & two chest pockets - one with button flap closure & one split to house a pen etc. Elevated in Japan by Coherence, the Jackson has all the hallmarks of their unique detailing and construction such as angled cuffs on the sleeve and immaculate stitching throughout.
