This particularly large and beautiful pendant is made from a particular source of turquoise which is part of the Kingman Mine range in Arizona. Turquoise Mountain as it is known also produces the famous "Birds Eye" turquoise and the mine itself is considered a stand-alone in it's own right due to the distinctive and unique nature of the stones it produces. Though the mine closed in the 1970's it is now operation again producing highly collectable turquoise distinguishable due to it's colour variations within one piece.
