The Havana Shirt from Japanese favourites Soundman is inspired by vintage Cuban, or Guayabera shirts, with roots dating back to the late 19th century. Cuban or Guayabera shirts are typically adorned with 2 or 4 pockets and vertical rows of delicately sewn pleats.
The Havana is cut from 100% dry panama cotton cloth in Japan. An open collar has been paired with two chest pockets and two hip pockets with button closure while intricately woven pleats feature on either side of button facing placket. The Havana has been finished with box pleats on the reverse providing the wearer with a traditional silhouette.
