Style Eyes is a house brand for the famous Japanese Americana stalwarts Toyo Enterprise. These guys focus on reviving classic 1950s style and focus on garments reminiscent of classic 50s with use of vivid colours and exceptional fabrics.
One of the most iconic silhouettes of 1950s style, the car coat, often called the Pharaoh jacket, gets a modern interpretation here.
The Pharoah Jacket from Styles Eyes is inspired by an extremely rare vintage Penneys Pharaoh jacket, found in the brands archive. The outer is crafted from a striking marbled kempi wool, giving the coat a unique texture and depth, while the un-quilted lining keeps the jacket feeling lightweight & easy to move in.
The jacket features two slash pockets with contrasting piping, along with a snap-button front placket. Contrasting ribbed knit cuffs and waistband add a classic finish, while a convenient utility pocket sits on the left sleeve. Two button adjusters at the sides allow the fit to be easily tailored.
