This painting captures the legendary duel between Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen, a dramatic moment from the historic Battles of Kawanakajima (1553–1564), etched into the annals of Samurai folk tales. Hokusai’s detailed composition stretches powerfully across a vertical two-page screen, showcasing his masterful technique.
For this limited edition model, Sun Surf use a Fujiet Rayon, favoured for its soft drape & breathability. The art work used is then overprinted using an ink pigment, while all the other details of their classic Hawaiian shirts feature.
