The Real McCoy's Buco Cotton Canvas Windproof Riding Cap Black
Buco was a famous leather jacket manufacturer founded in 1933 as the 'Joseph Buegeleisen Co', and were one of the first producers specialising in motorcycle accessories and bags. A few years later they developed their full apparel line promising "Motorcycle jackets, gloves, caps, belts & bags all cut and sewn by lifelong craftsmen to the task at hand".
Manufacturing was maintained entirely at an in-house factory, allowing the brand to produce the highest quality leather jackets available on the market at the time. The horsehide rider’s jackets produced during 1940s-50s are considered their iconic pieces. The Real McCoy's have acquired the licence to produce the brand and do so with due diligence and expertise in Japan.
The Cotton Canvas Riding Cap is cut in Japan from heavy-duty canvas and features a classic six-panel construction, loosely based on vintage hunting caps with fold-down ear flaps. This McCoy’s version is lined in corduroy, with flaps that can be tied up or worn down for added warmth. The brown corduroy lining offers a subtle contrast when folded up.
