Originally adopted in 1919 alongside the Army denim jumper and trousers, it was used as part of standard workwear. Like the matching jumper and trousers, it was also issued to young trainees in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) as part of vocational training programmes.
Made in Japan from 10 oz. natural weft denim and sewn with durable cotton thread. Contrasting stitching features throughout, while the hat is available in two sizes & comes unwashed.
